The title of the piece, which translates as Calm… I can hear the sound of my blood refers to the idea of being still and listen what occurs inside oneself. While composing the piece I allowed some minutes of stillness to ground myself in the present moment. I concentrated on sounds and images that would come up from this place as source for inspiration, or to literally translate what I hear into the music.
